PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES
JUNE 1, 2005
EVENDALE MUNICIPAL BUILDING
A special meeting of the Evendale Planning Commission (EPC), which continued the recessed meeting of May 17, 2005, was called to order by Chairperson Jim Guthrie at 2:05 PM on June 1, 2005 with EPC members VanAmerongen, Schwartzman, Shaffer, Guthrie, and Schaefer, Council Representative, present. Also James Jeffers, Village Engineer, Jack Cameron, Administrative Ass’t to the Mayor, and Linda Fitzgerald, Village Consultant for Economic Development were present as well as two members from Inwood Drive.
The only subject to be discussed at this meeting concerned the method of evaluating the proposed site development plan for A-1 and related overall site material. The goal was to set up criteria for discussion of specific items related the Applicant’s (Anchor) submittal in preparation for Saturday’s special meeting.
CONTINUED BUSINESS
There was considerable discussion regarding the infrastructure needs/changes and Chris Schaefer suggested that TEC be retained to assess the impact on RR and GM traffic at the ECBP entrances as well as related development impacts. Jack Cameron suggested that TEC, Anchor and American Consulting (Anchor’s consultant on traffic) meet to discuss the entrances and any alternatives relating to traffic flow as it might impact Inwood residents and other entities. It was suggested that Jack come back for the Saturday meeting with some ideas of cost, timing, and scope following the joint meeting.
It was then decided to organize specific areas to address on Saturday with Anchor in attendance. These fall into two broad categories: Overall Site (excluding Wal-Mart) and Wal-Mart specific.

Jim Guthrie recessed the meeting at 3:50 PM and stated that the meeting will resume at 10 AM on June 4 with a goal of lasting 3-4 hours.
